Tint selection tips

When choosing window films, it is important to understand that heat and UV protection do not depend on the tint shade, but on the quality of the film itself. All Llumar films provide 99% UV protection, while heat rejection levels vary depending on the film technology. Each newer generation offers improved heat protection, which is especially noticeable during summer temperatures. Basic films provide lower heat rejection compared to Standard and nano-ceramic films, but still outperform many films from manufacturers using older technologies.
When it comes to tint shade, Black Glass recommends 85% tint on the rear windows, matching the appearance of factory privacy glass, and 30% tint on the front windows, in accordance with legal regulations.
