Window Tint Installation Process
Appointments are scheduled by phone. Installation appointments are available every day, including weekends, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. If needed, the vehicle can be dropped off before business hours.
Window tint installation at Black Glass takes about 1 hour and is performed by a team of professionally trained and certified installers.
There is no need to wash the vehicle before installation, as the windows are cleaned and prepared for the film application at the shop. Films are installed on the inside of the windows.
At Black Glass, installation is performed without removing the windows or interior trim. When tinting the rear windshield, a single-piece film is used regardless of the windshield curvature.
Weather conditions such as rain or snow do not affect installation quality. The only important thing is that the windows remain closed for 2 days after installation.
Maintenance and Warranty
Tint films require no special maintenance. They can be cleaned using standard glass cleaning products, but abrasive cleaning products not intended for glass should be avoided.
All Llumar films feature a scratch-resistant coating, but using sharp objects on the film is not recommended, as this may also damage the glass itself.
After installation, heated windows continue to function normally. Depending on the film type, the warranty for tinted windows ranges from 10 to 15 years. The warranty guarantees that the film will not change its appearance or performance over time and that it will not peel off.
For films installed in accordance with the law (up to 30% tint on the front side windows), a certificate of film light transmission is issued.
